Design Center Computer Room. The animation
is playing on all monitors as well as being projection
mapped on the walls.
How can we rethink the static spaces that we occupy in reality? How can video, motion, and projection transform fixed spaces and borders into ones that are more ambient, bendable and flexible? With a space like a computer lab, I thought this idea of the virtual and physical world coming together occupy one singular space t could be possible through the underused monitors. By playing my video on the entirety of the screens and projection mapping on the walls and ceiling I was trying to create a space that seems to be always empty and underused into something active and filled with visual noise.
