Herbie Hancock Promo

For Ronald Pearls Time Sequence and Sound class the assignment was to create a promo for an upcoming (fictitious) show called “Jazz Legends” on a famous Jazz musician. Based on typography and stylistic drawings from Blue Note album covers specifically Afro-Cuban by Kenny Dorham and Head Hunters by Herbie Hancock featuring the song Watermelon Man used in the video I created an artboard of reconfiguring geometric shapes and typography to be reassembled and taken apart through the entirety of the video as visual landmarks.
